Marve answered all of my questions (and I ask A LOT of questions) and gave me honest opinions when something I liked wouldn't work with something else I liked. She added very thoughtful small touches, like flipping the sink and dishwasher to give us more uninterrupted counter space. Our house was originally built in 1962, so it was really lacking in counter space and storage. Marve doubled the cabinetry and counter space by building against walls that didn't have anything on them. So while we lost a bit of floor space, it was 100% worth it in what we gained in storage and prep space. She was also open and supportive of us incorporating color to brighten the space, so our kitchen went from a drab, bland, brown/beige, depressing space to a beautiful and bright room that oozes with life and energy. The kitchen has gone from being my most hated room in my house to my absolute favorite, and I'm finding myself obsessively cleaning it because I can't bear for it to have any spots or blemishes on it. This was our second project with KBR, and after working with Marve, we don't see any need to work with anyone else on kitchen and bathroom projects."
