Full-Time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper/Receptionist

Kitchen and Bath Designer

KBR Kitchen and Bath, one of the D.C. area’s prominent home remodeling and renovation companies, is looking for an experienced interior and kitchen/bathroom builder designer who is on top of his or her game, has sufficient skill set to design kitchen and bathrooms to clients’ satisfaction and is willing to join an amazing team of designers and project managers.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement innovative design projects for clients
Meet with clients to listen to their design ideas
Follow up with the project, ensure that the project is being executed accurately and without a flaw
Address concerns of clients when necessary
Compile and present data for other departments
Working with internal and external resources to achieve results
Management of multiple projects and clients during any one time period
Measure and report on project performance

Qualifications:

Previous experience in design, house renovation, remodeling, kitchen and bath industry
Previous experience in interior design
Familiarity with design software programs, preferably 2020 Design Software
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well in teams
Strong sales skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong work ethic and a “do whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Operations Manager

Job Duties: Direct and coordinate daily operations of the remodeling business; review financial statements and activity reports for remodeling projects to measure productivity and to identify areas needing cost reduction; direct the company’s administrative activities directly related to remodeling services; monitor suppliers to ensure that needed products are provided in a timely manner and within budgetary limits; plan sales promotions and set prices for remodeling services; direct financial and budget activities to fund operations and to increase efficiency; perform sales floor work including assisting customers and taking inventory.

Requirements: Position requires Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Management or a closely related field. Position also requires at least 3 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of Sales Manager or Sales Associate. The required experience must have been gained in a company doing business in the construction or remodeling industry.
